Description
Cole’s, Los Angeles’ very first saloon, was bought in early 2006 and restored to it’s full glory by Cedd Moses and 213 Downtown. At the end of 2008, fast approaching the 100th anniversary of the saloon and bar, UA5 was contracted by 213 and SNO to put together a website for the legendary culinary institution.
The goal was to develop and animate a light-hearted and viral website to get Angelenos excited about the reopening and celebration.
UA5 animated (Jib-Jab style) and developed a seriously fun game in Flash to educate and enliven potential customers. The game was a huge success and landed the website and bar on major Los Angeles blogs, as well as the L.A. Times.
